The unique design of the PlateClawÔ allows for its use on many liquid handlers and in many applications. The all Polypropylene construction allows it to be used in conjunction with various vacuum control systems including Acme-Automation’s B.V.D. and AVDÔ vacuum control systems. It works with Foil ,soft plastic, wax seals and self-sealing lids. The device uses an adhesive pad for simple installation. It can employ fasteners on the BiomekÔ 2000 and others for a more permanent installation and maximum holding power. When used with the ReactorAdapterÔ C5009, it will hold and flatten the surface of a variety of PCRÓ reaction plates. Reusable Neoprene gasketing holds up under repeated uses. Multiple vacuum port locations.
