HoleÔThis
is a device for draining unwanted fluids into a waste vessel. The device
fits neatly into a Titer format holder so it is compatible with various
liquid handlers. It has an integrated lid to allow for tip touching if
dispensed liquids.
Automated Use: Define the WasteHoleÔ using the respective software utilities for your Liquid handler. To do this increase the definition height Z + 25.15 mm. The 96 hole positions in the lid are the same as a 96 well plate. So you may just want to edit an existing plate definition.Dimensions: Device Height: ……….. 36.5 mm Tip Touch Height……….. 10.0 mm from Top Positions as a titer format plate at the base. Installation: Insert the length of tubing onto the barb fitting. Relocate the fitting if the end port if desired. Route the tubing DOWN to a waste bottle. ( you may want to connect a vacuum source if you need to route the tubing Up). Test the flow path with water before use.
