384 channel low volume reservoir: ‘ Minivoir38FourΤ ‘

This is a low volume reservoir for use with various automated liquid handlers and manual laboratory use. This reservoir uses ACME-Automation’s unique uPoolΤ to create an ultra low wetting volume for expensive reagents. Through the use of seals evaporation can be reduced and tip touching can be performed to minimize ectotip residuals. It is Multimek position 5 friendly. BiomekΤ FX compatible

Automated Use:

Define the reservoir using the respective software utilities for your Liquid handler.

To do this refer to the following dimensions. *Tip: the well access locations , Length and width dimensions are the same as an 384 well microplate.

Dimensions:

  1. Height: ……….. 25mm
  2. Max trough Depth:……….. 21.65mm
  3. X wide: ……………………... 127.76mm
  4. Y narrow: ………………….. 85.82mm
  5. 1st row to -X edge: …………… 12.50mm (96well plate locations)
  6. 1st -Y edge: …………….9.0mm

Specifications:

Material: ……………………. PolyPropylene

Channels……………………. 384 uPools

uPool capacity………….. 15 ul per uPool

Minimum wetting………….. 10ul per Channel

Maximum reservoir capacity.. 160mL

Operation:

For the best operational performance, the reservoir base must remain as flat and level as possible. Foil and wax seals can be utilized to reduce evaporation

Clean-up

Chemical Sterilization: Use of most commonly available disinfectants can be used. Avoid prolonged exposure to the more aggressive disinfectants to avoid any surface cracking. Autoclaving: Rinse clean in DI water prior to periods of autoclaving. 121° C / 15 psi. Cycle length of 15 minutes initial duration. The cycle period varies according to the type of chemical / material exposure. Proper periods can only be determined with experience. All plastic components have a limited lifetime.
